I have a BFA in Graphic Design and 2 years working experience internationally as a designer. I was trained to create clean, clever design which serves a function. I like to illustrate in ways that accentuate beauty, balance and depth.

I am passionate about regenerative agriculture and have a deep respect for native Hawaiian plants.
I grew up harvesting herbal medicine with my father, have helped with lo’i restoration projects, worked on different farms, took agriculture courses at UH Maui, worked at a nursery and currently am a part-time landscaper at a native plant non profit restoration project in Kohala, Hawaii.
My sensitivity and love for plants definitely plays a role in my aesthetic and day to day choices.

Did you know that most tattoo artists back in the day were women and the town Shamans?
I help people realign with and recognize their innate cosmic energy. Wooowoo, but true true.
On paper I am an LMT with advanced training in Romiromi, lomilomi and shiatsu and reiki level 1 and 2.
I hope to leave everyone and and everywhere I touch better.

I am convinced the world needs Hawaii more than Hawaii needs the world.
I am not Hawaiian. I am just a firm believer born in Hawaii. Hawaii is a perspective, a people and a phenomenon that makes sense. I was born on Maui and grew up in Makawao.
Starting in my mid 20s I studied olelo Hawaii for 4 years and have engaged with many cultural practices. Its an lifetime endeavor. Relearning how to think is not easy or pretty, but a necessary part of Hawaii’s reality. Those choosing not to educate themselves of how to live in alignment with the core values and languages of Hawaii are often leaving an unintended mess and causing harm onto others. Ignorance and entitlement in Hawaii are 2 of the most destructive forces harming our resources and people.
I support the integration of Hawaiian language and perspective into our public school systems, homes, work places, celebrations and recreational activities.
